Covid Aid is committed to providing a wide range of support to everybody in the UK who has been significantly affected by Covid-19. As Covid continues to live amongst us and with more than two million people in the UK living with Long Covid, the charity continues to deliver a variety of supportive content covering a range of issues.
From Long Covid, grief and bereavement to mental health, financial hardship and vaccines, the charity website has more than 258 advice and information articles to aid readers who visit the site in search of support.
The Covid Aid Support Community also continues to grow, with over 1,300 members who can access the tailored online courses, expert Q&As, and group sessions.
Covid Aid’s Executive Director, Joyce Gray, said:
"We continue to be astounded by the accomplishments of our charity. To reach 250,000 people in our short history is nothing short of staggering. Each one of these digital interactions means we have been able to support, share and guide our community to resources that will make a difference, both now and in the future.
We continue to rely on our small team and engaged volunteers who produce the work that is so impactful. We recognise that unfortunately there is still desperate need for our support, as people are still living with the long-term effects of Covid and with new cases increasing. We aim to continue delivering the support and information, required by our community, and hopefully receive the resources required to continue to carry out our work."
The public can donate now or get involved in a variety of ways – any support will be greatly appreciated by the charity and its members, and make a big difference.
